Certification and Vendor Qualification

Service provider certification is extremely important and assures users that any interoperability issues have already been resolved by vendors before the equipment is installed. However, SIP Trunking service provider certification alone is not sufficient. A demarcation device that is qualified for Microsoft Lync 2010 as well as certified by the service provider is the only proven method for guaranteed interoperability.

Benefits of Using a Demarcation Device

NET's SBC is a fully integrated multi-service voice switch that provides high-performance secure VoIP communications for the enterprise Microsoft Lync deployments. It secures both signaling and media through standard protocols such as TLS and SRTP. The in-built firewall capabilities further extend the security by protecting the nodes from denial of service attacks. It is the industry’s first fully integrated gateway with Any-to- Any protocol switching functionality, high call capacity, and security, creating a next-generation solution for enterprise VoIP and Unified Communications applications.
